As a Machine Learning Engineer at Managed Grid, I had the opportunity to work with my colleague Werner van der Veen to predict the imbalance on the power grid. This enables Managed Grid's partners to adjust their production/consumption resources based on the expected imbalance and thereby save costs.
In addition to training models, we are also responsible for implementing and maintaining these models and conducting analyses. This makes a project at Managed Grid exciting because you have the unique opportunity to be involved from data analysis to the implementation and maintenance of the models.
After work, you can find me in the kitchen, not because I love cooking, but because I enjoy good food and good company. Additionally, we play (board) games almost every day at our home.
