We are the first in the Netherlands to successfully configure a closed distribution system (CDS) to operate at cosphi = 1 while simultaneously delivering MVAr — reactive power — to the grid operator.

This is attractive for consumers for the following reasons:

Can you supply reactive power?

Solar parks, wind farms and batteries with a modern inverter can often supply reactive power without affecting normal operations. Whether it works in your case depends on the inverter type, the connection to the substation and what is possible at night. We measure it and work it out for you.

Many parties are already preparing to replicate our approach.

But be warned: it’s not easy.
