As a Power Quality specialist, I am working at a time when many new sustainable technologies are emerging, and we are all becoming increasingly dependent on electrical energy.
Generating, controlling, and connecting the energy from different sources with the main power grid can be done, but it needs to be well monitored and controlled. ‘Power Quality’ is a very relevant concept in this regard, which will only receive more attention in the future.
At Managed Grid, I have an advisory role in choosing the right Power Quality analyzers with the overarching system. Automatic reports are generated, but what is even more important is that we can link certain aspects to the control of an entire park. And what’s just as important is the ability to look back and analyze what has happened in a network.
Together with my colleague Joris, who manages the monitoring of the power of the parks, we can make a significant contribution to the reliability of the systems setup by Managed Grid. Along with many other people in this group, we deliver a beautiful and reliable installation; ready to apply new technologies and ready for the future.
